Muscat International Shipping & Logistics (MIS) has transported a 140-ton (127-tonne) Wärtsilä engine from a power station in Khasab to Duqm, Oman.
The engine and its accessories were loaded onto multi-axle trailers at the site of the old power station for transportation to the port of Khasab.
The cargoes were then shipped to the port of Shinas, where MIS was responsible for the offloading operations and delivery to the Duqm power station, a distance of approximately 800 km.
MIS, part of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), said all operations were completed within 17 days.
