Malaysia-based Megalift has transported a pair of pressure vessels, weighing a combined 499 tonnes, onto a barge using SPMTs.
The largest pressure vessel weighed 367 tonnes and measured 97 m x 3.85 m x 3.98 m, with the other weighing 132 tonnes and measuring 38.75 m x 5.23 m x 5.27 m.
Megalift, a member of the XLProjects network, used its own SPMTs – in a 28 multi-axle configuration – and provided ro-ro services as part of its scope of work.
Last month, Megalift Malaysia handled more than 100 cable drums for a data centre project in the Southeast Asian country.
