Portugal-headquartered Laso Transportes has transported an 84 m-long wind turbine blade from the Ria Blades’ manufacturing site to the port of Aveiro.
According to Laso, the Siemens Gamesa SG170 onshore unit is the largest blade produced in the Iberian Peninsula.
From the port of Aveiro, the blade will be delivered to a testing centre in Denmark.
