Laso Transportes of Portgual has successfully completed a complex logistics operation for France’s food industry, including the transportation of 35 m-long heat exchangers from Spain.
The size and weight of the exchangers posed Laso with some challenges. Detailed planning was pivotal in overcoming the limitations caused by the road infrastructure in both Spain and France.
Work began in Spain, with Laso’s team loading the exchangers. Complex infrastructures such as bridges and narrow roads caused issues due to the height and width of the cargo.
Last month, Laso moved a large bridge structure across Portgual.
