Mannheim, Germany-headquartered Kübler Spedition transported a German Navy submarine from Kiel to Speyer in an eye-catching project move.
The 500-tonne submarine will be displayed outside Technik Museum Speyer. It measured 50 m long, 9 m high and was moved by sea, river and road.
The first stage – barge transit via the Kiel Canal, the North Sea, and the Rhine River – was completed last week. The submarine has since been hauled to Speyer, where it will soon be unloaded and positioned on its display stand.
