Khimji Ramdas Shipping - Worldwide Project Consortium member in Oman - has handled and delivered a consignment of air-cooled heat exchangers and accessories from the port of Duqm to the Yibal Khuff project site in Oman.
Khimji Ramdas transported the consignment, comprising 806 components - including tube bundles, skids and associated structures - which had a combined total weight of 2,707 tons (2,455.7 tonnes).
At the port of Duqm, the company oversaw the safe discharge, handling, and storage of the cargoes from the vessel, before transporting the components to their final destination by road over the course of 315 journeys to the end destination.
Once complete, the Yibal Khuff project site will produce approximately 10,000 barrels per day (bdp) of oil.
