JSL Global has coordinated the offloading and transport of a tunnel boring machine (TBM) from Hamad port in Qatar to the client’s jobsite.
In total, the shipment weighed 1,080 tonnes. The heaviest individual pieces weighed 85 tonnes and had a width of up to 4.8 m.
JSL Global moved the cargo from the port to the client’s site using a lowbed trailer, hydraulic axles and several flatbed trailers. The company also arranged for a police escort for the road transport.
