J M Baxi loaded-out a 5,700 tonne offshore process module in December 2023.

The modules, respectively dubbed TP-11, TP-12 and TP-13, were manufactured by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in India and had a combined weight of 18,000 tonnes.

Each module load out, from axle insertion to final placement onto a 400-class float-over barge, was executed within 36 hours. The work was performed by means of 260 SPMT axle lines with 12 power pack units, as well as 85 ballast pumps.

The process was finalised on May 30 with the loadout of TP12 and has been taking place throughout the year with TP13 installed in March. The first 5,700-tonne offshore process module destined for the project was loaded-out in December 2023.

Saudi Aramco embarked on its USD12 billion expansion of the Marjan oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia during 2017. The offshore work packages are valued at USD5 billion and the onshore packages are up to USD7 billion
