InterMax Logistics Solution has transported 50-tonne aircraft tractor from Shanghai Waigaoqiao port area to Kazakhstan.
A spokesperson for InterMax said: “Faced with such a large and complex piece of equipment, how to meet the regulatory requirements of the customs without customs sealing and the transportation requirements of the customer to complete the entire customs transfer process, was undoubtedly a major challenge for us. The InterMax team coordinated four customs functional departments in Shanghai customs district and Xinjiang customs district and finally developed a perfect customs transfer plan after countless discussions and optimisations.
”The success of this transportation not only marks another breakthrough of InterMax Logistics in the field of cross-border transportation of oversize equipment, but also sets a new benchmark for the logistics industry in Shanghai Port. We have created a precedent for transfer and customs transfer transportation, providing valuable experience and reference for the implementation of similar projects in the future.”
