Earlier this year, Holleman Special Transport & Project Cargo delivered 7,664 freight tons of machinery from Romania to Serbia.
The shipment included pipelayers and machinery used for construction and welding. The cargoes were delivered to the port of Constanta and transhipped onto five river vessels for onward transportation to the port of Smederevo in Serbia.
Some of the more time-sensitive equipment was delivered directly to a project site in Serbia to start operations.
65 trucks were utilised to transport the remaining equipment to different jobsites.
According to The Heavy Lift Group (THLG), of which Holleman is a member, the company was also responsible for the coordination of permits as well as private and police escorts.
