NMT Global Project Logistics has moved five fermentation tanks from Nantong, China, to Corinto, Nicaragua.
NMT’s office in China arranged the barging of the cargoes from the manufacturing yard up to the port of Nantong. Its team in the Netherlands, meanwhile, chartered a multipurpose vessel for the transport.
The branch in Central America was responsible for arranging the transport from under the ship’s hook to the final destination, calling upon its heavy transport fleet.
On site in Nicaragua, a 500-tonne capacity crawler crane from NMT’s fleet will be used to manoeuvre the tanks onto their foundations.
