Turkish heavy lift and engineered transport provider Hareket has completed the transportation and installation of heavy equipment at the Kırklareli power plant project in Türkiye.

With a total of 9,114.8 tonnes of equipment, Hareket was responsible for both the transportation and the lifting and installation operations at the 850 MW project site in Erikleryurdu.

Within the delivery was a 449-tonne stator; a 431-tonne gas turbine; a 359-tonne generator; 15 HRSG modules varying in weights from 200-297 tonnes; plus, two transformers weighing 375 and 220 tonnes.

With equipment coming from across the globe, it was initially shipped to regional ports within Tekirdağ, before onward travel to the site.

Earlier this month, Hareket appointed Reduan El majdoub as its global director for engineering.
