Globalink Logistics recently completed a challenging project, delivering combined cycle power station components to Talimarjan, Uzbekistan.
The project included two 130-tonne engines and four 75-tonne generators, transported from Turkey to Kazakhstan’s Kuryk and Bautino terminals via sea-river vessels, followed by a complex land journey to the project site.
Globalink’s industrial projects unit has to overcome low water draught, strong winds during transit, and infrastructure obstacles on land. The team was responsible for loading, lashing, and transportation using its own equipment in in-house engineering. The road survey team meticulously planned the route, identifying and mitigating challenges to ensure timely delivery.
