Geodis has chartered two AN-124 aircraft to operate on a rotation between China and France, delivering millions of masks on behalf of the French government.
In the coming weeks, 16 flights will transport the masks from China. The first flight from Shenzhen arrived at Paris-Vatry airport on March 30 and delivered 8.5 million masks. A second flight is scheduled for later this week.
The French Minister of Solidarity and Health said that this freighter connection is part of a plan to import 1 billion masks to France over the next 14 weeks.
