Mumbai-based project logistics and heavy lift specialist Freight Wings has erected a 1,000-tonne VGO reactor for HPCL Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) in Bhatinda-Punjab.
The reactor was erected at HMEL’s Guru Govind Singh refinery in Bhatinda.
Freight Wings utilised a strand jack and tower system, along with a tailing crane with a lifting capacity of 600 tonnes. The work involved moving the reactor inch-by-inch, which was completed in a span of eight hours.
Freight Wings has a fleet of cranes ranging in capacity from 50 to 1,600 tonnes, as well as SPMTs, heavy lift gantries, strand jacks, skidding systems and barges.
