New Zealand-based Freight Traders has performed two ship charters to support power station projects in the country.
The shipments were loaded in the Mediterranean Sea under Freight Traders’ management. The projects are in the centre of New Zealand’s North Island, with detailed planning to navigate local road closures fundamental to successful delivery.
For the first project, Freight Traders delivered one turbine which measured 4.12 m x 2.68 m x 3.28 m and weighed 34 tonnes; four preheaters that measured 20.97 m x 2.61 m x 2.17 m and weighed 103 tonnes each; two vaporisers which measured 21.34 m x 3.09 m x 3.77 m and weighed 110 tonnes each; along with two recuperators, each measuring 11.76 m x 2.7 m x 2.82 m and weighing 53 tonnes.
The second project included two vaporisers which measured 21.34 m x 3.59 m x 3.97 m and weighed 95 tonnes each; four preheaters which measured 21.35 m x 2.11 m x 2.26 m and weighed 57 tonnes each; plus, two recuperators which measured 12.96 m x 3.04 m x 3.02 m and weighed 63 tonnes apiece.
