FOX Brasil has delivered hydropower equipment from the Brazilian port of Santos in São Paulo to the Matucana power plant in Peru.
On behalf of Andritz, FOX Brasil received the cargo at the port of Santos and arranged the stuffing, lashing, and ocean freight to the port of Callao, Peru. There, it was also responsible for the port terminal handling and onward delivery to the power plant.
In addition to the tight delivery schedule, FOX Brasil said that its customer made another important request: to avoid extra handling and moving of the cargo. As such, the company arranged for the components to be discharged from the vessel directly onto Mafi trailers.
In collaboration with Peru’s Andina Freight, the cargo was safely delivered to the power plant, which is located approximately 64.5 km east of Lima.
