The shipment comprised 10 packages and had a gross weight of 286.4 tonnes and a volume of 589 cu m. Specifically, the cutting wheel measured 4.7 m in height and weighed 98 tonnes, the front shield 4.7 m and 75 tonnes, and the tail skin 4.7 m and 30 tonnes.

FLS Projects’ Singapore team was responsible for shipping the cargo from Jurong Port to Laem Chabang port, Thailand, using a breakbulk vessel. FLS Projects Thailand took over proceedings from Laem Chabang port to Rayong.

Hydraulic trailers were mobilised to move the heavier items, while low loader trailers were called on for the cargoes weighing around 30 tonnes. A road survey and escort team were also used to manage cable lifting along the route to overcome road height restrictions.
