Norway-based Ugland Construction has moved the first of five closed fish farms built by Prodtex Industri for Lerøy Seafood.
Tasked with moving the fish farms from land to sea, Ugland Construction used its semi-submersible barge UR 93. It was responsible for providing engineering services, ballast plans for the ro-ro operation, float-off operations and mooring analysis.
The first fish farm was moved from the construction site to the sea during March, with the remaining four to follow.
