Austria-headquartered Felbermayr has completed two projects as well as a crane lift at sites across Europe.
Felbermayr has transported a 115-tonne storage tank from Passau, Germany, to Burghausen, also Germany. At 53 m long, a tractor and push machine were used, with a 14-axle THP trailer configuration acting as the trailer.
The company also transported an industrial container from Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik’s plant to Linz, both in Austria. A 10-axle Nooteboom low-loader trailer was used for the 130-tonne container, which measured 34 m in length. Using a gantry system, the cargo was then loaded onto a ship at Felbermayr’s heavy lift terminal to continue its journey.
Felbemayr has also been at work in Slovakia, replacing an air conditioning system on the roof of a warehouse which is around 50 km east of Bratislava, in Zavar. The company opted for a Liebherr LTM 1300 mobile crane, equipped with a 66.5 m-long seesaw and a boom length of 80 m. Despite time restrictions, Felbermayr was able to move the crane 200 m within the factory premises to get the necessary work done.
