Egypt-based heavy lift transport company EWA Group has successfully executed the 650 MW GOS II wind farm project, which included transporting Egypt’s longest wind turbine blade.
Providing end-to-end logistics for the project, EWA Group transported 104 wind turbines which each consisted of 11 heavy lift components.
Alongside this, the company provided shipping agency services, port operations, Customs clearance, as well as storage and inland transportation.
EWA Group made history in the process by becoming the first company in the country to handle and transport a 92-m-long wind turbine blade.
