Europe Cargo – member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) – transported a 56-ton (50.8-tonne) case from Alblasserdam in the Netherlands, to New Castle, Pennsylvania, USA.
The unit measured 15.1 m x 3.7 m x 3.85 m. Europe Cargo arranged the packing and loading at the shipper’s location, before trucking the case to the port of Antwerp in Belgium.
At the port, Europe Cargo oversaw Customs clearance, insurance, and the discharge onto a Mafi trailer. The cargo was then shipped on an ACL service to Baltimore.
Upon arrival at Baltimore, fellow PCN member Thunderbolt Global Logistics assisted with port handling. The shipper arranged onward delivery to New Castle itself.
