In partnership with Ørsted and Siemens Gamesa, DEME Offshore has completed the installation of 94 turbines at the Borssele 1 & 2 offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
The first 47 turbines, which have a tip height of 200 m and a rotor diameter of 167 m, were installed in April 2020, as HLPFI reported here.
DEME Offshore deployed its installation vessels Sea Installer and Sea Challenger for the project – which will see 94 8 MW Siemens Gamesa turbines deliver electricity for one million Dutch households.
