Transport and logistics firm DB Schenker will deliver 240 wind turbine blades for an Envision Energy project in India.
The turbine blades are being transported from Sheyang, China to Kandla Port in India for Envision Energy.
Each blade measures 76.8 m in length and weighs nearly 19.3 tons (17.5 tonnes). The entire project volume totals almost 274,000 cu m with a weight of 4,600 tons (4,173 tonnes). Transport between China and India began in May 2024 and is set to continue until December 2024.

DB Schenker was officially put up for sale by Deutsche Bahn in December 2023 and is currently receiving bids from interested parties.
