DAKO Worldwide Transport has coordinated the delivery of three nitrogen storage tanks from Türkiye to a CO2 liquefaction plant in Teesside, UK, in partnership with Allelys and Hareket.

Each measuring 36.5 m x 4.4 m x 4.6 m and weighing 76 tonnes, the size of the tanks warranted meticulous planning and specialised equipment to ensure safe handling.

The pre-carriage route from the supplier’s workshop in Kayseri, central Türkiye, to the port of Iskenderun in the southeast of the country, involved navigating mountain roads with tight turns, required route planning and precise manoeuvring to navigate successfully.

In partnership with Turkish heavy transport engineering specialist Hareket, the cargo arrived at the port. From there, the cargo was shipped as part of a charter to the point of delivery. Allelys then took over, transporting the tanks to the jobsite.
