DAKO Worldwide Transport and LTW Africa Logistics collaborated on the transport of a 150-tonne mill shell, along with 500 freight tons of accessories, for a cement plant extension project in Banjul, Gambia.
Dako Worldwide Transport’s scope started in Enns, Austria, where it collected the cargo for transport to the Port of Antwerp for onward shipment to the port of Banjul.
At the port, the company’s heavy-duty Goldhofer modules received the cargo from the multipurpose vessel. The shipment was then transported to the project site.
Late last year, CF&S Group, through its subsidiary CF&S Germany, acquired 100 percent of the shares of project logistics specialist DAKO Worldwide Transport, which continues to operate under its name and leads global logistics projects within CF&S.
