Project freight forwarder Dako Worldwide has delivered 28 tonnes of piping equipment from Germany to a copper mine in Chile.
The equipment was flown from a supplier in Germany to the Collahuasi copper mine, which is located 4,400 m above sea level in northern Chile.
Dako faced various challenges in the form of tight deadlines, coordinating international airfreight for oversized cargo, and delivering to a remote location at a high altitude.
In August 2024, DAKO coordinated the delivery of three nitrogen storage tanks from Türkiye to the UK.
