Greece-headquartered Cosmatos Shipping Services has transported three bullet tanks from Thessaloniki Port, Greece, to Soussaki Port, Greece.
Cosmatos, member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Greece, loaded each propylene storage bullet tank onto the ship with two 900-tonne safe working load (SWL) cranes by lifting in tandem with the use of two beams.
Each tank weighed 650 tonnes and measured 67.5 m x 7.6 m x 10.7 m.
Two trailers – each measuring 24 m x 4.9 m – were used for the onward travel from Soussaki Port, and both were equipped with a turntable for pivoting. Each platform had 16 axles and each axle three sets of four tyres.
In May 2024, Cosmatos handled a discharge for Chipolbrok Pacific.
