Chipolbrok has transported a dozen brand new motor yachts from Florida, USA and Golfito, Costa Rica to the Mexican ports of La Paz and Ensenada, as well as Yokohama in Japan on its heavy lift vessel, Władysław Orkan.
The Chinese-Polish carrier said the ship’s 2,000 sq m of deck space was “just enough” to accommodate the valuable cargo, which was “densely stowed and yet safely lashed”.
The vessel, which is equipped with a crane capable of lifting up to 640 tonnes, also carried some bulk cargo from Chesapeake that was bound for a port in southern China on the same voyage.
Chipolbrok offers monthly sailings between the USA and the Far East.
