Boskalis has landed a pair of offshore construction contracts with a combined value of EUR85 million (USD94.9 million).
In Denmark, Boskalis will install a 4 km-long secotion of the Baltic gas pipeline from Jutland to Funen on behalf of transmission system operator Energinet. A video of the how the project will be developed can be seen here.
In Taiwan, Yunneng Wind Power selected Boskalis to install scour protection for the Yunlin offshore wind farm. 325,000 tonnes of rock sourced from local quarries will be installed using a fallpipe vessel around the 71 monopile foundations. Work will begin in early 2020 and should be complete by year-end.
