Bolloré Logistics has handled a shipment of out-of-gauge generators and ISO tanks, supplied by Allied Engineering.
The oversized cargoes had to be moved from Karachi in Pakistan to Equatorial Guinea. The project was handled by Bolloré Logistics’ teams in Pakistan and the UAE.
In total, 83 sets of generators and tanks, plus accessories, were moved using multiple flat racks as well as high-cube and standard containers. The operation required extensive planning, coordination and discussions with the carrier regarding vessel booking and timely placement of flat rack containers, said Bolloré.
A pre-shipment survey was also arranged by the team in Pakistan to ensure smooth execution of operations during the loading and transfer process.
