Bolloré Logistics has successfully transported a lifeboat launching cradle and related accessories for a floating production unit (FPU) project.
The project was particularly complex thanks to the cradle’s oversized side, which measured 10.4 m high, therefore making land transport impossible Bolloré Logistics then proposed a transport solution by barge from the factory to the shipyard, via a bonded logistics park.
The Bolloré Logistics Central China team worked alongside the Malaysian team to oversee the transport route, provide technical solutions, and conduct onsite feasibility studies. Together they coordinated with the factory and the shipyards, arranged the loading and unloading of the barge along the river port, and completed the export/import declarations to and from the bonded logistics park.
