Bertling Logistics has transported separators from Antwerp, Belgium, to Tianjin, China.
Bertling’s offices in Singapore, Bremen and Shanghai cooperated on the project; the heaviest piece weighed in at 200 tonnes and measured 2.14 m x 5. 05 m x 5.08 m
The project faced obstacles in the form of delays caused by road permit applications, as well as a temporary lock closure which meant that re-routing through France was required. Careful planning meant that the equipment reached Antwerp in time for the heavy lift vessel’s laycan before heading to Tianjin.
In August 2024, Bertling Logistics appointed Mike Camara as managing director in Houston, Miami and Dallas.
