USA-based heavy haulage specialist Berard has launched USNS Point Loma, a 2-200-ton (1,995.8-tonne) expeditionary fast transport (EPF) ship.
Berard transported the 338-ft (103-m) long EPF from the client’s final assembly bay to a deck barge. Once secured on the barge, it travelled downriver to be transloaded.
Earlier this year, Berard loaded out two topside decks for a South Texas fabricator.
