B&M Logistica International has handled two 70-tonne generators from Paranagua, Brazil, to Montreal, Canada.
The generators were loaded onto a container vessel as breakbulk cargo, along with a flatrack container for the accessories.
The project was an ex-works shipment, where the team managed the entire shipping process from the client’s plant to the port of discharge.
Coordinating the delivery time with the vessel’s arrival was the most challenging part of the proiect, said B&M, in order avoid extra truck detention charges and ensure the team did not miss the vessel’s departure.
