Freight forwarder AsstrA Associated Traffic has coordinated the delivery of OBSL modules for Ineos Project One – the first of up to 100 modules that it expects to move for the project.
AsstrA moved eight modules from the port of Bauan, the Philippines, to Antwerp via the Cape of Good Hope. The cargo was delivered on United Heavy Lift’s (UHL) vessel UHL Flair.
Several of the modules measured 39 m x 12 m x 11 m. AsstrA is set to transport around 100 modules – more than 230,000 cu m of cargo – under this contract. This was the company’s first delivery.
In September 2024, HLPFI reported that Gosselin had coordinated handling of five heavy-lift bullets for Ineos Project One. Meanwhile, AsstrA saw Chris Kent join its board of directors during September.
