Aprojects has chartered three vessels from China and Vietnam to Belgium as part of a turnkey project for a new combined cycle power plant.
The company coordinated delivery of some 30,000 freight tons of cargo across the three vessels, including individual pieces weighing more than 325 tonnes. Some measured 30 m long, 5 m wide, along with varying heights.
As the destination was Aprojects’ home terminal at the port of Antwerp, the company handled the delivery using its terminal and warehouse, before barges and trucks were used to deliver to the client’s site. Once there, a variety of cranes and SPMT trailers were used to offload the equipment.
In October 2024, Aprojects delivered locomotives from Germany to Finland.
