Antonov Airlines has transported 95 tonnes of oil and gas equipment, including cable reels and pipes, from Norway to Singapore.
Transporting the equipment from Stavanger, Norway, to Changi in Singapore, Antonov worked in cooperation with UK-based Golden Aviation to complete the journey. Despite logistical challenges and complex loading and unloading, the flight departed and arrived on schedule. Antonov’s AN-124-100 Ruslan aircraft was used for the move.
“Thanks to Golden Aviation’s kind response and support, professional and effective input to completing this project combined with Antonov’s loading management skills and flight crew, [which] made the perfect match to perform the transportation smoothly and on time,” said Eugene Kiva, commercial executive of Antonov.
In July, HLPFI reported on Antonov Airlines partnering with NEO Air Charter and forwarder Logwin to move two huge parts for a pulp mill in Chile.
