Antonov Airlines and DSV coordinated the delivery of crated machinery from Hong Kong International Airport to Houari Boumediene Airport, Algeria.
Antonov Airlines performed two flights, each carrying more than 70 tonnes of equipment. The cargo is to be used at a desalination facility.
“Antonov flight and technical crew did a great job to ensure quick and efficient loading of over 60 crates on each flight using aircraft internal cranes,” said Iryna Kyianytsia, commercial executive of Antonov Airlines.
Earlier this month, Antonov and First Class Freight (FCF) shipped a thruster from Hong Kong to Houston, USA.
