Ambercor Shipping has assisted in the delivery two reclaimer booms from Türkiye to a project site in Canada.
Once transported from the factory to the port of loading in Türkiye, a part charter vessel was used to ship the cargo to Houston, USA. From there, Ambercor worked with its partners to move the reclaimer booms overland to Canada, using a bunk and dolly set up which was initiated by Ambercor in Houston.
The reclaimer booms – measuring 34.7 m x 4.3 m x 2.6 m and weighing 30.2 tonnes each – are being inspected and will be installed on site at a later date.
Ambercor is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Canada.
