Ambercor Shipping has handled the transport of a 95-ton (86.2-tonne) cold box from a factory in Port Robinson, Ontario, to a jobsite in Minnesota for a large LNG project.
The cold box measured 15.3 m x 4.9 m x 3.9 m and was loaded at the factory before being driven onto a deck barge at Port Robinson.
The barge then travelled through the Great Lakes to the port of Duluth, where the trailer was discharged and drove 402 km to the final destination.
