North American project freight forwarder Ambercor Shipping has been involved in an air charter delivery from Calgary Airport, Canada, to Toowoomba, Australia.

The shipment consisted of two main skids, measuring 9.5 m x 2.53 m x 2.26 m and weighing 14,515 kg (14.5 tonnes) each; two coolers, each measuring 4.25 m x 2.31 m x 2.39 m and weighing 3,810 kg (3.8 tonnes).

There were also two pressure vessels – one of which measured 3.09 m x 2.06 m x 1.47 m and weighed 1,315 kg (1.3 tonnes), and the other measuring 4.47 m x 1.66 m x 1.52 m and weighing 2,222 kg (2.2 tonnes); along with one 5,897-kg (5.9-tonne) crate, which measured 5.4 m x 2.44 m x 2.29 m.

Member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) for Canada, Ambercor’s project freight forwarding team in the country organised the collection and delivery of compressor and cooler packages within two days.

In December 2024, HLPFI reported that Ambercor had assisted in the delivery of two reclaimer booms from Türkiye to a project site in Canada.
