Subsea 7 USA has contracted ALE to execute complex pull-in operations at an offshore production facility south of New Orleans.
ALE’s project scope includes engineering, procurement, fabrication and offshore pull-in operations for steel catenary risers (SCR) and umbilicals.
The engineering phase of the project is already under way, with the offshore operations to begin in the first quarter of 2020 at the Mississippi Canyon.
As part of the project, ALE will develop a solution to pull dynamic loads weighing up to 335 tonnes.
