Al Faris deployed a 300-tonne capacity LTM 1300-6.3 and an older LTM-1300/1 unit for the work, which involved loading the tamping machine and locomotive from the track onto a trailer.

The cranes worked in tandem to ensure the load’s length and stability was maintained, managing the centre of gravity during the lift.

In Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, Al Faris has transported two gas reactors tipping the scales at 510 tonnes per unit and measuring 37 m x 10.2 m x 9.5 m. Al Faris used four files of 22 axle lines of SPMTs for the transport.
