Air Partner’s cargo division organised the delivery of oversized gas insulated switchgear (GIS) from Tianjin Binhai International Airport to Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers, Algeria.
The GIS will be used for a large-scale project taking place in Algiers, with time constraints meaning that ocean shipping was not an option.
Air Partner’s cargo team in Turkey organised the overland transport of the cargo from the shipper’s warehouse to Tianjin Binhai International Airport. Maximus Air Cargo operated two back-to-back flights to Algeria using its AN-124 aircraft.
“This project really demonstrates our ability to tailor bespoke solutions for our clients,” said Eliska Hill, who was appointed as senior vice president of Air Partner last month. “We are delighted that we were able to deliver a safe and timely solution for the client.”
