The heavy components measured 10 m x 5 m x 3.5 m and weighed 135 tonnes each. They were first transported to the nearest barge port in Erfurt by truck.

The cargoes were then loaded onto a barge for further transport to the port of Antwerp, where they were reloaded onto a vessel for onward transport to Gemlik port in Turkey.

After arrival in Turkey, the parts were transported to the mill site in Bursa.

For the transport of accessories, 30 trucks were mobiles to move this equipment directly to Turkey.

The scope undertaken by the AGL team also included arranging the necessary permits, as well as crane and terminal operations.
