3PL Industrial Projects has delivered three boilers from Klaipėda, Lithuania to London’s Edmonton EcoPark.
Three trucks were used to transport the boilers, with each piece measuring 4 m in height, explained Ilya Goncharov, head of industrial projects at 3PL Group.
As part of a large investment in public recycling facilities in North London, construction on the replacement energy recovery facility at Edmonton EcoPark started in early 2022. The first phase of the civil construction works is near to completion with Acciona, the project’s main contractor.
The National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) is currently delivering the structural steelwork for the boiler, flue gas treatment area, and access platforms.
