Ocean7 Projects has established an office in Bangkok, Thailand, in a joint venture with WeShip Projects.
The joint venture will provide chartering and commercial management for vessels operating in the heavy lift, breakbulk and project cargo shipping sector.
Torben Reinhard, Søren Larsen and Robert Wynne will manage the new office. Together they will oversee Ocean7's intra-Asia heavy lift service with the Thai-flagged vessel Fredensborg, while growing the company's presence in the Asian and Australasian markets.
Reinhard, managing director of the joint venture, said: "We are excited to not merely continue our unique Thai-flagged heavy lift service, but furthermore offer our customers a wide selection of vessels and sailings within the region as well as worldwide."
