Investment summit deals self-aggrandising

Last week, the UK said that it had attracted GBP29.5 billion (USD37.4 billion) of investment for sectors including tech, life sciences, infrastructure, housing and renewable energy. Of course, the headline figures are alluring but whether they materialise in full is a different matter.
