The Project Cargo & Breakbulk conference and exhibition 2020 (PCB 2020) – a new event for the project logistics supply chain – will take place in Houston during April next year.
Launched by event organiser Prysm Group, PCB 2020 will be held from April 1-2 at the GRB Convention Center in Houston.
Alli McEntyre Gaharan, former managing director the Breakbulk series of exhibitions and conferences, is leading PCB 2020 in her role as portfolio director. She said: “The PCB event launch is dedicated to providing content and networking in partnership with the industry it serves. We hope that our commitment to serving the industry shows in the event’s expansive programming and in the investment in the event format, quality and amenities available to visitors and exhibitors.”
PCB 2020 will include a two-day future projects conference alongside a one-day conference promoting the US Gulf’s role in global logistics. There will also be managing innovation and technology sessions that are open to all visitors on both days of the show – these sessions will help attendees learn about new technologies in an interactive format, said the organisers.
The organisers have described the event as “part networking lounge, part office, part exhibition with the added value of multiple collocated conferences”. Its goal is to provide an event plan that is unique and built to increase potential connections and business productivity while onsite.
“PCB has been developed out of a need for an event that operates in close partnership with the specialised logistics community and that is designed in a format that meets the unique needs of the industry that it serves,” added Prysm Group.
